Lives and works in New Delhi, India.
The artist’s journey from literature to painting informs the themes and tropes she like to work with. Her work is driven by a desire to visualise layered storytelling. She is drawn towards objects, with a desire to turn the ordinary into the sentient. She draws literary parallels from works that blur object, body and consciousness.
The work moves fluidly between mythic archetype and personal psyche, interweaving creation‑myths, feminine embodiment and introspective rupture. Across scales and media, recurring tropes of birth, transformation and self‑collision emerge against a backdrop of textured surfaces, a practice that continually renegotiates the boundary between story, image and object.
She is also the Creative Director and Founder of tl;dr, an interdisciplinary design studio.
